As Lund moves into a period of summertime stillness Show & Tellers are able to look back on yet another busy semester of fieldwork, writing, teaching, talks and presentations, and other activities.

Over the course of the semester, project members have made several presentations at invited talks, conferences and workshops in Europe and the US.

Alexandra Middleton gave two invited talks, one at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Anthropology's Spring Seminar Series and on at the Humanistic Design Speaker Series hosted by the Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education at Princeton University. Alexandra also presented work – together with colleague Benjamin Lipp – at the Nordic Science and Technology Studies conference in Oslo.

Alison Gerber attended several symposia, including one at the ERMeCC research cluster Music, Industry, Culture & Society at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and one symposium on the social life and death of images at eikones in Basel. Together with Tobias Olofsson, Alison also presented work at the Interdisciplinary Market Studies Workshop in Edinburgh.

Other highlights from the semester include Kenneth Ravn starting work a small project within the project looking into the emerging use of digital twins in Campus environments; Isak Engdahl’s visit to Gothenburg University for a PhD candidate seminar; Alison’s visits to the Social Research Workshop at the University of Tennessee and the Bad Art Club in Hillsborough, North Carolina; Tobias's participation in a workshop on the Good Economy at The Norwegian University Center in Paris; a visit by Alison and Tobias to the Nordic Cultural Sociology Symposium hosted by the Cultural Matters Group at Uppsala University; and a workshop hosted by the project at which guests joined us from Uppsala and Berlin for two days of paper discussions, walk-and-talks, and a session on embodied writing led by Alexandra.

Finally, project members are gearing up to hire a new set of colleagues who will join us on the Show & Tell project this fall.
